Creadiv TV: Episode 5 Proper Channels & Scope

Creadiv TV is really becoming about my business experiences, and how I am learning from events that occur every day.

In today’s episode I talk about going through the proper channels before starting a project. If you don’t you may end up in trouble, looking foolish, or putting the people you are working with in an uncomfortable position.

Another important part of your project is the scope. I talk about how I recently thought I had my project scope ironed out, but didn’t and how that affected project development. Time is money so don’t let scope creep creep up on you.

Until next time…I will see you later.

  1. Wow, yeah she has some balls to just pull the trigger on that project. The internal team must be shit and she feels like she cannot depend on them. Or she has asked for this to be done many, many times and they flaked her off for ever, so she took matters into her own hands. This could be good if they view that as proactive, but being the company that it is and with all the procedures I am sure they have in place before spending money, she might be on the hot seat.

Nevertheless, you did an awesome job on the project. And I know it burns you up that you had to do extra work that you were not paid for, time is money, and also that you will not get the link back from that companies site. Damn, that sucks.

Can you still use it in your portfolio? Cause that is an hell of a reference to have in your bank.

Good work on the viddy, but widen the lense a bit and tilt it down. You look like a tall midget trying to get into the shot. LMAO!

  2. Freddie,

    Thanks for the awesome comment.

I don’t know if people will see it as initiative or deceitfulness. There is so much pomp and circumstance involved in business that if something isn’t done properly it is usually frowned upon.

Thanks for the compliments. I will always be able to use it as a portfolio piece, but won’t get the link back unless I bury it somewhere within the site.

And as for the viddy, all the matters is the content. Listen to Gary V. and forget about the camera, the sound, the background and just put out the content.

    Adam
